When we chant to Shiva, we call out to Him, but it's not a plea to the external; it's an internal calling, whicj awakens the divine light within us.
Through love, all things shine, and acknowledging that the love we hold and share is also the embodiment of who we are.
Shiva embodies the still and unmoving presence of the mountain, challenging us to stop and accept the divine within ourselves so that we can transcend all obstacles of ego, pride, fear, and doubt.
The melody of this version of the OM Namah Shivaya mantra we had been singing for years. It was in the Parvati Valley of the Himalayan mountains that Nicole sat and sang this mantra when the English words joined in.
A much beloved song, it made its way into the album, in a very orchestral and cinematic rendition.
This song is dedicated to Carioca, for his musical inspiration and astral guidance.
lyrics
Om Namah Shivaya
Om Namah Shiva
When you give love
There's love in your heart
Wherever you go and whatever you start
Stop
And listen to the sound of your heart
Listen, listen to the sound of you heart
Follow, follow the song of your heart
Om Namah Shivaya
Om Namah Shiva
